Flexus Dance Company

Flexus Youth Dance Company consists of highly talented dancers from Coppice Performing Arts School and around the West Midlands. The company rehearses for 6 hours per week in addition to classes in a range of dance styles. All of the members are gearing towards careers in Dance and the Performing Arts and Flexus provides them with a multitude of performance and choreographic opportunities to assist in this.

Flexus was originally formed as a “Gifted and Talented” project in 2003; by 2005 it had become a fully fledged Youth Dance Company in its own right.

The company have toured 3 major works both regionally and nationally in a range of venues and theatres. Alongside these works they have delivered education and community packages. In July 2008 Flexus were selected to represent the Midlands in London as part of the National Youth Dance Festival 2008.
