We are proud to celebrate recognition by the Specialist Schools and Academies Trust (SSAT), a leading national body for secondary education in England, for being one of the most improved specialist schools in 2009.
As part of the schools teaching on multi-cultural lifestyles and after discussion with Ms. Kennedy, the head teacher, school pupils decided that for the first time at Coppice Performing Arts School would undertake a Sikh Wedding.
As part of the year 11 RE syllabus one of the topics that has to be covered is Christian marriage.

SCIENCE TECHNICIAN
Salary: APTC Scale 4, £14,464 - £16,323 (Actual Salary)
Hours: 37 hours/week, term-time only
We are seeking a hard-working Science Technician to join our friendly team from 1st September, 2010. Previous school experience is preferred. Team-work is essential and you will be required to work closely with teaching staff, other support staff and students.
Our ideal candidate will have a flexible approach, excellent organisational skills, be able to use initiative and organise their work with minimum supervision.
Coppice is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of its students, and all staff are expected to share this commitment. Recruitment procedures will be comprehensive in this regard. This post is subject to an Enhanced CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) check.
